The mission was a great experience. It was a spiritual refreshment. Having to let go of our personal life and make a new life showed me what it means to die to self and be born again in Christ. It is a motivation for me to live to the best example of Christ at all times, for we are missionaries everywhere we go.
The diet was inspiring, and I've been trying to live on two meals a day; it's a struggle, especially with food being within your reach, but I managed. The mission has shown me the great importance of good health.
Lastly, I enjoyed the company of the people. It is always a wonderful experience to be around people of the same faith and belief, it gives you strength and encouragement to hold fast to the faith and strength to resist the devil. There is safety in a multitude of counselors.
